As we continue to expand our content delivery, we are looking for a Freelance Content Writer to join our editorial team on a part-time basis.

Job Brief

The Freelance Content Writer will be responsible in aiding our in-house team with enriching our website with new blog posts, guides and marketing copy. You will be responsible for conducting research on our core industries (Finance, Technology, Business, Healthcare & Culture) and generating copy for articles to be published on Distilled Post.

Ultimately, you’ll help us to deliver writing pieces that appeal to our target audiences: Industry Leaders, Key-Stakeholder Executives and individuals who want to remain ahead of the curve in tech, finance, healthcare and business.

Responsibilities:

• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems (WordPress, HTML)
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to editors for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• BA in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field

Salary: Depending on Experience
